From 2014 to Mar 2016, FEI has developed a Toolkit designed to guide the staff of the Millennium Challenge Corporation and its partner governments in strengthening the financial and operational capacity of water supply and sanitation utilities and to enable them to eventually obtain a formal credit rating from an independent rating agency. The objectives of the Toolkit are to improve the quality of service provided by the utilities and to enable them to attract domestic and international private investors to expand their systems to areas that are currently not being served.
